Custom acrylic NFC stands, table talkers & review stands
A good NFC stand does one job: it makes someone reach out and tap it without being asked. That means it has to sit where it's seen, survive a busy counter, and look like it belongs to the business rather than like something ordered in bulk from a catalogue.
We design, cut and assemble bespoke acrylic NFC stands in our Leith workshop — cut on our CO₂ laser, assembled and encoded by hand, and read-tested before they leave.

Materials and finish
- Clear, frosted, tinted, fluorescent and mirrored acrylic
- Flame-polished edges — the difference between a made object and a cut-out
- Logos engraved, cut through, or reverse-engraved and colour-filled
- Weighted or wide-footed bases so they survive a wiped-down bar top
- Layered builds in two or three thicknesses for depth
The NFC part, honestly
Most NFC stands fail for one of two reasons. The tag is stuck on the back as an afterthought and peels off within a month, or it has been placed next to metal or a magnet and barely reads.
We cut a recess sized to the tag so it sits flush inside the build rather than on it, and where a stand has a metal base or a magnetic mount we specify on-metal (ferrite-backed) tags, which are designed to work against exactly that. Every unit is encoded and read-tested on a phone before it is packed.
How an order runs
- Send your artwork and the URL the tag should open.
- We come back with a costed approach, usually within 24 hours.
- We make one, photograph it, and you approve it before the batch runs.
- We cut, assemble, encode and read-test the full quantity.
We work from one-offs upward. There is no minimum order, though the price per stand falls quickly once setup is spread across a batch.
